PT Shinryo Indonesia had faced major challenges in managing employee attendance manually because the company has several projects spread across several cities, giving employees high mobility.

They are used to filling in attendance by mobile phone," Rizka told the Peoplyee HRIS team on Thursday (25/04/2024) in Jakarta.
In addition, Ahmad Yulizar, HR Admin Officer, said the company experienced challenges at the start of HRIS implementation, namely the absence of overtime categories and the ability to deactivate accounts for employees who were out of town. Both were very important for the company because they related to performance records and overtime pay.
The Company Obtained an HR Management Solution
However, Yulizar's team, which prioritizes compliance, worked to run administration that made company reporting easier while increasing employee satisfaction. Therefore, Yulizar's team regularly communicated with the Peoplyee team, resulting in four overtime categories and a feature to deactivate accounts when employees are assigned in the field.
"Employees here often move between work locations, so not all of them work at headquarters. When they work on a project, the HRIS account can be deactivated. After they return, the account will be reactivated. This feature is very helpful for the HR team," Yulizar explained.
Now, Peoplyee HRIS has a new multi-location feature, which allows the HR team to view and monitor employee attendance from various project locations. This feature makes it easier for HR teams and managers to manage team members.
"When there are improvements in HRIS, we consider implementing Peoplyee's system in the company's other projects," Yulizar said in closing.
